Professor P.O. van der Chijs from Leiden did describe during the years 1851 – 1866 in 9 thick books all Dutch coins up to the year 1576 that were known at that moment. As described in his books: “van de vroegste tijden tot aan de pacificatie van Gend”. (From the earliest times till 1576). At this moment his books are still the standard because nobody did describe after him the Dutch early coins.
The original books are scanned and digitally corrected. On some pages you can see minor errors like a black line or grey background or spots. This reprint is a clear and sharp reprint.
